Meg decided to design a rack that would protect the flocking of English saddles after signing a contract while buying a semi-custom saddle. The contract said this new saddle must be housed on a saddle rack which is wrapped with saddle pads and/or foam. Improper storage of the new saddle would void the warranty. “Stacks and stacks of saddle pads under each saddle is messy and undoubtedly I would pull half of this mess down daily when getting a saddle. And so the Save Your Saddle Rack was born |
The SAVE YOUR SADDLE RACK was designed by a rider, Meg Gould. For many years Meg had noticed the damage done to the saddle flocking by saddle racks both expensive, inexpensive as well as homemade racks. Horses were suffering sore backs from piping dents or from packed down rock hard flocking from sitting on hard surfaces. These are expensive problems to repair.
